Black writers of Wattpad! I love the talent that so many of you display. The heart, humor, tragedy, and innovative news of your stories. Our stories. However, if you write on here at all, you know how difficult it can be to get your stories noticed and off the ground. Sometimes waiting for the one comment of upvote feels like waiting for a drop of rain in the desert. That in mind, I want to open a space for us to come together as a community. o relate to each other, uplift our stories, and share them. To normalize brown-skin in all it's wonderful shades, to celebrate our beautiful and unique features, and to love writing tales that reflect our lived experiences. So if you're a black writer of any gender, sexuality, religion, or nationality, feel free to join this Club. [AS OF 7/12/22: Officer Applications Are Open! Apply in the first part and you'll be DM'd a discard code. Roles include Moderators: You moderate the discord in addition to the comments on the book club. Curators: You find stories to invite more black writers for the club to rad and write. Editors: Checking over grammar and editing mistakes in community posts and announcements Judges: In the event of writing contests, you will be voting on stories to win different nominations.
