Interlude

Love Adaire was poured in rain when she met him. He seemed to be a kind and humble employee at her local game store, but how wrong could she be. He was good at hiding his darkness, his authority, his meanness. Oh, but how could he show her that side yet when all he wanted was her.

That's why he lied to her about the game being out of stock, that's why he kept giving her a reason to come back every time, that's why every time she left he would record a video diary for her, about her, that she wouldn't get until it was too late. She didn't know that her 'game' being ready would seal her fate and there was nothing she could do about it. She didn't know that her face would be on a missing poster the next day.
