Description
Running from a dangerous past has made Cassie McAfferty paranoid and extremely careful about who she lets in. After running for too long Cassie decides she's found her place in the small town of Heart Butte, Montana. She has allowed herself no attachments, except for her small son. Her little boy is the reason she's not willing to go home. Word gets to Cassie's father, the Colonel, who enlists the help of Travis McKennan, a top Marine about to be discharged from the service.
