Prologue

Aira Hart. She was trained and honed, went on missions with them, even has a number designated but is not connected to the Hargreeves. The head of the family only said that she was dropped off at the doorstep of their home two years after she was born. She was given the nickname "The Black Sheep" as she was not adopted like the others, just stayed with them.

When the love of her life suddenly dies on a mission, Aira, also known as Number Zero, fights the urge to just let all she holds dear go. Ben Hargreeves is the only person in that family keeping her sane, gives her hope and makes her dream of a life that they can fulfill together but that changes after an incident.
