Fayette's life was just like any other teenage girl's life. Friends (what friends?), drama (well, not so much), and---oh who am I kidding? She doesn't have many friends at all. But what happens when a new foreign exchange student comes to her small school in Khadersville, Maine? And this student isn't just in her school...he lives with her! Her parents noticed that Faye didn't ask to go over to many people's houses or ask to go to dances or parties. They decided to host a foreign exchange student from Britian to try to get her to be more outgoing and to have someone to confide in. They thought the student was going to be a girl... but there was a mix-up and they ended up with a guy! But soon after he is introduced, the popular kids seem to take a liking to him. Will he fall for it and leave Faye to fend for herself? Well, it's not like it would be the first time. She thought her friends would stay with her from middle school, but they proved her wrong when they started this year as freshman.
