She never liked it to begin with but once you've been through a lot and are tired of being lonely you do anything so you won't be lonely. She understood that better than anyone, after all it does apply to her. Her parents got divorced when she was little, she had no one to go to with her parents having a new person at their houses every day after the divorce, Alexa started dating once she got older but it became abusive fairly quickly she knew it would be in her and her daughter's best interest to leave. After getting custody over her daughter she ran away to New York only to be found by her Uncle Fury and asked to join the avengers part time. What she didn't realize was that she would be meeting the Tony Stark and that he would fall for her.
