Description
Alexandria Bardot had trained her entire life to be a mercenary, thinking it to be a novel cause. She didn't hate all faeries, but if one crossed into her home looking to harm another human she wouldn't hesitate to strike it dead. Or at least that's what she tells herself. Her plans are thwarted when she falls in love with a girl, something that was very frowned upon in her village. To make matters worse the girl, Vivienne Hawthorne, was half fae. When Vivienne's father summons her back to Prythian in the Autumn court. Desperate not to lose the girl she loves, Alex follows her into the land of the fae. It's there that everything goes to hell. ~Disclaimer ~ The story does take place in the ACOTAR universe, but Alexandria won't be introduced to the members of the night court and so forth until later in the story. So, please don't be discouraged when she doesn't immediately meet characters like Lucien, Rhysand, and Feyre.
