Prologue

Evelyn's mother died when she was only seven years old, and Evelyn saw it all through the one-way mirror in her room, leaving her troubled by PTSD. The investigators rulled it as a suicide. But something didn't quite add up. Her mother never seemed like the type to be depressed and suicidal. After the incident, Evelyn and her father moved out of their farmhouse in the country side to a busy city apartment. Evelyn is now an adult with her own family; her husband Mike and her twins Tobias and Selena. Mike reconstructed and remodeled Evelyn's childhood home. When they moved in, everything seemed perfect. That is when things took a terrifying turn as untold secrets rose to the surface, and a dark truth was revealed.
