Prologue

Anette Morgan. Massive in the gaming industry. She's been making the games at the top of the charts for years now. When she comes out with a brand new game, and a whole new VR rig for it, everyone buys them.

The moment they're in the game, all of their memories are wiped clean, and suddenly most of the world is stuck inside a digital version of itself.

But this isn't Anette's story.

Blacklight is the bane of her existence. Able to hack into the mainframe, this vigilante has been running from Anette's lackeys, OPACT, and only seems to have one goal. To get out of the game.

As Blacklight races to find a way out, she finds herself learning more and more about what really is going on, and how horrific it really is.
