Prologue

We all grew up on fairy tales from a variety of cultures, eras, and races. There is the good guy. The dashing prince or the helpless princess or the virtuous children. And there is the villain. A gnarled, evil witch who takes advantage of the hero to get what they want. The story always ends with the villain vanquished and the hero riding off into the sunset with everything that they could have ever wanted. But what if those stories were lies? And what if those "villains" were out for revenge?
