The people in Arcaea has discovered a mysterious gadget they have never seen before. Turns out it's called a phone. They found out that they can message people with it. In the messaging app in the phone, there's a feature where a group chat will automatically be made, and the person who made it will be placed with random people.

Hikari tried that feature, unfortunately, and now she's stuck being with random people she doesn't even know.
