When Alice's mother Makayla sends her to school she can't find a cheap school so she sends Alice to a sleep away school ; k-12. Alice thinks everything will be fine being away from her mother who in fact is very very strict.

Alice has to deal with the pain and pleasure of being in k-12. Only one friend she goes to k-12 with is her best friend Lily.
