Description
12 years ago, the lycans dominated the human race following a three-year bloody war. They were stealthy, by day, they beheld the flesh of a man, and by night they morphed into a killer worthy of nightmares. The war wasn't swift, and the losses' casualties were extensive and devastating. The remaining humans were casted into small villages, falling command to the lycan authority and forced to follow their strict regime. Any action done by a human that strays from their command would pay a heavy consequence. One of the most notorious new rules established by this tyrannical authority is an animalistic practice that takes place annually, The Solstice Hunt, a sacred tradition to where humans and lycans from around the world gather at a moon-spirit bound site and humans are set out into woods for the lycans to track the scent of a potential moon-given mate. Seventeen-year-old Tala Osanna grew up in an underground rebel group whose core mission is to avoid being caught. In this rebel group, everyone has their own stations. The Raiders, the only station permitted to go above-ground, scout supplies, collect information, and map out the safest roads. Tala had been trained since the day she arrived at 6 years-old on how to stalk, hide from, and evade a Lycan. And, come her eighteenth birthday, Tala is set to officially ascend her title as Raider.
