At one point in our life this question has crossed our thoughts deeply, even to the point you start to doubt everything you have ever known or been taught. But because we are left with unsatisfactory answers, we are compelled to follow the narrative we are given. This book follows the story of Zomchukwu Agu, a Nigerian Igbo girl who finds herself in a prison-like university called Paritas known for its odious actions upon the students. Zomchukwu is determined to find the answer to this question; but when her unquenchable inquisitiveness and feistiness leads her to being expelled, worry, hopelessness and criticism from family soon follows but she fortunately wins the US green card lottery, which changes things for her.
