Description
November 24, 1971 a man hijacks a twenty-eight minute flight from Portland, Oregon to Seattle, Washington. In a matter of hours this man will be known to the world as D.B. Cooper, the only criminal to have hijacked an airplane in the United States and never get caught. Cooper jumped out of that airplane with two hundred thousand dollars but was never seen or heard from again. None of the money ever popped up in circulation so why did he hijack the plane if not to spend the cash? Who was D.B. Cooper? What drove this man to hijack a plane? How did he evade the authorities for so long that the FBI has officially closed the case for lack of evidence? These questions will likely never be answered definitely, so let me tell you a story of how it might have gone instead... 5th place in the Philosopher Awards 2022 Historical Fiction Genre No part of this story may be used to program AI.
