Description
Book one of my two part series, The Runaways. Peter, a young boy with wings, finds life rather banal. Everything in his life appears to be the same, that is until his life gets flipped upside down. An accident causes a massive change, making life anything but banal. A man by the name of Jack takes Peter in. As a werewolf, taking care of a mutant is easy as pie, in theory. The pair, on the run from certain villains, make a decisions that could mean life or death. Captured and scared, Peter thinks there is no means of escape from a painful future. Then, a team of misfits like Peter, come to his rescue. They offer to give him safety and security, but seem to know all too well about his life. Will he take their offer of refuge, or will he refuse an offer that seems too good to be true?
