Many years ago, a Soul Reaper lieutenant had suddenly disappeared and any who went looking for him having apparently been attacked... and after multiple reports of these attacks, the missing Soul Reaper was later labeled as going against Soul Society and deemed a traitor...

Now said missing Soul Reaper is seemingly living a well off life under the guise of a student at Karakura High School... that is until a girl with black hair seems to give her powers to slay hollows to a human with orange hair.
