Colson is the rightful Alpha of the LockLear pack but she feels she's still young and not ready for all that responsibility so her father is the Alpha until she's ready to step up to the Alpha role. What makes her pack unique and dangerous is that some of her pack members are all different shifters. On one faithful evening Colson and her pack are down by the beach when a bunch of high school kids from a different school comes along to surf. By pure accident Colson loses her footing as she chases after her cousin and falls into a girl's lap. Once her eyes connect with the girl's everything shifts and focuses solely on the girl.
