Jayda Edwards is the typical young black girl growing up in Atlanta, Georgia which is considered to be the spot of black excellence and wealth. Jayda is living a good life with great friends, an extraordinary grade point average, beauty and enjoying the luxury her parents have provided for her. Although it seems like this young and beautiful girl has it all, there is one thing she doesn't have one thing..... and that is Min Yoongi. Jayda has had a crush on Yoongi since her sophomore year of high school but considering the dynamics at their seemingly southern high school she hasn't had much interaction with him. At this school, you just don't see a young black girl and an Asian male together like in a romantic relationship. The two groups of people don't even interact much other, Jayda is considered popular by mostly the black population of the school and then Yoongi is popular among the Asian population since he is the star basketball player. Jayda hasn't caught his attention yet and this seems to make her draw conclusions that maybe she's out of his league?
