Description
(CORPSE POV & Corpse x Reader story) In this story you are the villain. You and Corpse met when he was dream hopping thousands of years ago. He would show up so often that you began to put the pieces together. You learned that he was a demon from the underworld that worked as a 'Nightmarer' which is a job for harnessing negative energy from the living's dreams. You never let yourself have too negative of dreams, but your being's core was a hotspot for absolute darkness, a warning he should have paid more mind to. Corpse would visit often to feed on the negativity you had, leaving you feeling better every time you woke up, it became addictive for both of you, and it was easy for you to find yourself deeply in love with this beautiful demon which led you to an attempted suicide that he saved you from for selfish gain. However, after saving you from yourself he stopped visiting as you had attacked him, leaving his face and body deeply scarred. He feared you fearing him now based on his appearance. You went on to live for another few years before dying in a house fire caused by your eldest sister who had locked you in the basement. You were bitter towards the living after that and just wanted to live the life Corpse said you should have. When he left it broke your heart, but you were quick to finding him upon dying. He was devastated that you had died so soon, but your love bloomed into an unholy unity considered marriage for the dead. However, even with his love your hate and negativity festered until it lead to a messy divorce and a position of VERY high power. You became obsessed with the idea of creating a way to "re-start" life with no consequences, meaning that there was no longer going to be a need for the limbo period all souls must wait out while waiting to be reborn.
