"I need your number to pick you up" he says, handing me his phone. I look at him and shake my head with a slight chuckle.

"No, you need a location and time. I'm at the gas station at six" I answer walking away.

"But-" he holds my hand. I glance at our hands and he drops it.

"7:30 it is" he steps back with pleading eyes, since papà said to have me home by 8:30. Stupid boy.

"No, no. 6:00 is fine" he stammers, his eyes wide. I give him a sarcastic smile before answering.

"I'll be ready by 8" I sit in my car and signal for Mateo to drive.
