That was only her plan while under the care of Mr. Jae Kwan Lee, a director of Mayonaka no Bara (Midnight Roses) International Intelligence Agency. She was still in contact with her parents for the first few years while studying in the Philippines, but not until they both lost connection with each other. It only occurred to Katana that she has to graduate immediately so she can go back to her parents. But that sudden cut of connection is what caused her to delay her flight to Japan for another whole school year because of another special task. When she was already about to leave, Mr. Jae Kwan Lee bargained with her to stop her from leaving. Their discussion was to keep his son safe until he graduates.
