We're not going to be having peace any time soon, so the only thing we can do is be prepared." * East and West have been split apart, a wall in between them. A war-no matter how quiet-is a war, and they know it better than anyone. They're not going to take this separation sitting down, and rebellion comes easy to the two. But their fight to get back together might have more of a price that they can pay. Poland is alive again, but the world he is in is a changed one. He's familiar with being trapped, a pawn in someone else's game, something to use and discard, trapped. But, being a bird in a cage is ever so different from being unable to fly. * This story is a slow burn, even if you read relatively fast like myself. It contains the Third Reich, SS Division and Soviet Union as characters, though based on history, it is not 100% historically accurate. It gets really gory, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Trigger/content warnings are at the start of each chapter, if I've missed something, don't be afraid to tell me. This book is soon going to be cross posted on Quotev and AO3 by accounts with the same name.
