Being the one and only daughter of Whiz Entertainment founder Ivory Laxamana, who was then known as an actress-model, the moniker "Ivory's Carbon Copy" was given to Iris because she looked so much like her mother and did well in the same industry that her mother first pursued. Hating the comparison, Iris set out to disprove the opinions of others as a result.

Her mom, Ivory, gets fed up with the troubles she caused in the process that she ordered her trusted personal driver, Ryko, to be her daughter's driver and bodyguard.
