Description

This following book describes my senior project that I began working on from Fall 2021 to Spring 2022. Abstract: This project simulates a system in which an output is controlled via voice commands. In this project, a graphical programming platform called LabVIEW was used along with a desktop microphone, LEDs, and resistors. The purpose of this project is to aid those with physical disabilities that may prevent them from manually activating a light in a room. If they are unable to use their hands, then lights that recognizes voice commands would be a beneficial alternative. Depending on the command that is stated into the microphone, an indicator on the front panel of LabVIEW will be activated simultaneously with the digital output using Data Acquisition, or DAQ, sent to the LEDSs on a breadboard. The code that was used was created by a youtuber named Rahul M. Nair, who provided the code to the public and is being modified for this project.
