Evelyn Potter joins the Behavior Analyst Unit just out of Quatico. Director Strauss thought she was too young but was order to allow her to join. She becomes close with Dr. Spencer Reid and like a younger sister to Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia. She becomes a daughter to David Rossi, Aaron Hotchner, Emily Prentice, and Jennifer Jearu.
