I've been aware for a while that despite my ramblings about Optimus and Cordelia, I haven't explored their relationship from the first movie...as in how they bonded, etc. This fic does go slightly AU as what I wanted for Lia and Optimus just didn't work with the plot of the movies. The movies and the events that happened in them are still canon, but I have gone off the beaten track a little.
