Chapter One

Former foster kid Taylor Hamilton has no knowledge of her celestial abilities. After 16 years, she finally has a home and a new, doting mother in Sandra. The small coastal town of Aurora holds promise for Taylor. On the first day of her junior year at her new high school, she meets fellow student Adrienne Peters and is inexplicably spellbound.

However, the euphoria is quickly dismantled by a pair of angelic beings and their insistence of Taylor's larger-than-life role in the mortal world and the evil fiends that inhabit it.
