He had went back to the town he used to live in when he was a child, but while at this childhood home, he spotted a butterfly in his back garden, who looked like Kanae Kocho's hairpin before she passed away from Upper Moon 2. After joking about it out loud to the butterfly, he realized that the butterfly was actually a reincarnation of her.
