Dr. Eggman had been battling Sonic's team for seven months on Earth, but he grew furious every time he lost against them. However, it wasn't over. He still had more plans coming out of his sleeve, but now, he is injured in the infirmary bed inside his lair as his robot companions feed him and tend to his injuries.

Before he can retaliate by picking a card from his drawer, his bot assistants had just come in such a rush for an unknown reason, Dr. Eggman had given them a questionable look until Cubot & Decoe handed him a journal, which contained his grandfather's scientific research of a formula that can solve his problems and began his recreation of an Ultimate Lifeform, in his image, much powerful known as Experiment R-2.
