Isla Hamilton is a senior at Hawkins High and is a star athlete as well as a musician. She moved to Hawkins,Indiana at the age of 8 years old, Shevwas born in Brisbane, Australia but moved to be with her Aunt Claudia Henderson.

Isla meets a guy by the name of Eddie Munson 5 days before Spring break. On the last day of school before spring break the sudden death of Lead Cheerleader Chrissy Cunningham is revealed on march 28, 1986 and the people of Hawkins chose to go after Eddie Munson as he was the last person to see and Hear her.

Isla teams up with Max Mayfield, her cousin, Nancy Wheeler,Robin Buckley, Steve Harrington, Erica Sinclair and Lucas Sinclair to stop the Curse of Vecna and save the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana.
