Description
Within the shadows of Japan, a war is being waged. The Shinobi fight among themselves to either uphold the laws of the government as Good Shinobi, or bring glory to themselves or their clan as Evil Shinobi. And some simply fight to survive as Renegade Shinobi after being cast out of either side. It is common for all three sides to say that they dance either for the will of Evil or their clan. But perhaps they will, in time, learn to dance for something greater than that. For there is something else at work, deeper in the shadows. Enter Kashige, a student of Hanzō Academy and a member of their shinobi class. Like his classmates, he also has a strange friendship and rivalry with the evil shinobi of Hebijo Academy, the Renegade group of Homura's Crimson Squad, and the Good Shinobi of Gessen Academy. However, unbeknownst to all of these groups, his own teammates included, he carries a tremendous burden. For his allegiance lies with another group that hides in the shadows in the modern age. His burden will eventually become lighter, as his shinobi allies are made aware of his allegiances, and wish to aid him against a looming threat. But, thanks to Kashige's knowledge, Japan is not the only country that can combat this threat...
