In this alternate universe, the first words one's soulmate says to them are magically written, as if with pen, on their left inner wrist on their fourteenth birthday. If the ink is black, it means the person has yet to meet their soulmate. If the ink is blue, it means they have. The ink turns red when one's soulmate dies and green when they've shared their first kiss.
