Alexander and Eliza have been married for a long time. They have had several children and they love each other. At least, Eliza thinks that. But everything changes when Eliza and Angelica make their way upstate. (Basically Reynolds pamphlet but Laurens is not dead and Mariah Reynolds is not the one in the affair. Also, Alex does love Laurens btw.)
