Joy Hopper has always been the wallflower of Hawkins. She does not have the best reputation which means she has no friends. But she finds it better off this way. It's not like she ever wanted them.

With a bad reputation, no friends and the best grade in her english class, she finds herself having to tutor Steve Harrington (The King of Hawkins High). She thought her life could not get any worse.

But little did she know, what else was lurking in her empty "boring" town...
