Prologue

Cambria Newton used to be a regular girl. She had everything she could ever ask for: perfect family, perfect house, perfect life. It took one accident to shake her perfect world and cause it to crumble into a million pieces. After the accident and death of her father, it seemed nothing could go her way. Her mother was remarried before she knew, then being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Following her mother's death, her stepdad decides to ship Cambria off to live with her Aunt Viv who she had only met a handful of times. There, she will meet Kyle Thomas Bradshaw, a tall and tan country boy with baggage of his own. Cambria and Kyle will struggle to overcome their pasts and learn what it means to make sacrifices for the ones you love. The question is, will Cambria be able to let down her walls she has built up higher and higher and allow Kyle to see her and love her as she truly is?
