The amount of stress and resentment in life makes you want to disappear and never be found. At least that was the case for Dream. No matter where he was, he despised this game of life. This up and down rollercoaster we're expected to be in for years on end.

He just wanted to leave, go have fun, live life to it's fullest with no stress nor regrets.
But even as much as he wanted to, he could never truly run away.

Not on his own at least.
