Prologue

As he wiped my tears from my cheeks, the ocean waves began to kiss my feet. All of my tsunami threats vanished, my storms subsided, and he shrouded me in his light when I was at my lowest point.

My ocean is him. I'll continue to adore him no matter how many times he sends me away, just like how the waves kiss the shoreline.

Perhaps it was your time, not mine. Certainly not ours.
