Author's Note

I should warn you that while this story's setting is the same earth you live on today, it is far in the future. Longer than you and I will live. This future is not one that I expect, but rather one that I hope for. A future of broken cities and ruins and rubble. A time after everything is over. For when the age of humans has come and gone, the world still spins. The sun rises, not caring who is there to watch. I hope for a future where the flora and fauna of this earth are no longer oppressed, but rule.

It's been years since the world ended, or so I'm told.

Of course, no one thought to tell the world.
