The ones that get over their grief and move on and the ones who descend into some sort of endless misery." ~Spencer Reid Spencer Reid and Evelyn Lawrence have been dating for nearly 4 months now, and as they approach Christmas, things are getting back to normal after Spencer had nearly been tortured to death earlier in the months. He is still left with signs of PTSD, but won't let anyone approach him about it, so for a while it doesn't impede on the couple's true contentment. As time passes however, their happiness doesn't last forever and tragedy strikes. Spencer is forced to battle inner demons as guilt eats away at him, eventually turning to an old "friend": Dilaudid. He is now faced with decisions and situations he had never thought would be thrown at him. Can he overpower the newfound struggles, or will he let the darkness consume him?
