Chapter 1

Alexandria, Iowa is her life. It's where her family and friends have grown up for years, filled with smiles and some regrets. Her father wasn't exactly in her life but it was something she could manage.

She is confident, brave and sometimes fearless. Her best friend gets her in trouble most of the time because it's 'living the life on edge.'

But this story isn't entirely happy.

That all changes when she soon makes a decision that would later change her life entirely and possibly save her own. The choices she makes from that point on will make heads turn and people will begin to whisper.
