Prologue

Isla Moriah is overworked and underemployed. A woman of the modern age, she lives in a glorified closet in NYC while trying to make it at one of The Big 5 publishing companies. One afternoon a co-worker tasks Isla with completing some work on their computer, giving her access to the company's marketing blog publishing platform.

What started out as a joke quickly explodes when Isla diaries out a recent encounter with an old fling. Now, with social media literally knocking at her door and the weight of losing her job is heavier than ever, Isla must truly figure out what this whole 'adulting' thing is all about.

And love? Well, we just don't have any time for that. ... do we?
