Having been separated from her family and taken to Planet Vegeta to be sold off as a pleasure slave, tries to find a way out of her current predicament in hopes of finding her father who was taken by the Icejin. Vegeta meets her by chance and saves her from the clutches of his fathers harem, acquiring her for himself. Later becoming intrigued by both her technological genius and beauty. He seeks out her help for the cause against the Icejin under the pretense of her being just his slave. However, his father immediately suspects that she is much more to his son than just that. A plot to separate them is soon in full effect. He's the prince of a powerful race expected to take an "appropriate" Saiyan mate; she's a seemingly weak slave in everyone else's eyes.
