Description
He didn't want to say goodbye just yet, *The time we spent together was long but not just enough. This can't be all that there's been to this, can it?* He doesn't know how to describe his emotions, betrayed? Grieving? No, this is something that simply can't be defined. By the time Michael gets the slightest grip on his emotions, Volo has looked away. His eyes show a hint of hesitation only Michael can notice. Nothing will break the tension, they both know that, but Michael wants to talk. One sentence. A few more words before his time runs out. So many thoughts, although his lips never part. He can't bring himself to say anything. There is one thing he must say. One thing he never said. He didn't dare to say it then and still doesn't have the courage enough to now. And he says it anyway, aware this is his last chance. He is forced into a corner with no escape, and so he takes his opportunity, "Volo. I love you." He says as much as he can before tears form in his eyes, coating them in a gloss. The man across from him avoids his gaze with an icy air about him. Volo tightens and loosens his fists amid his agitated thinking. Stating firmly a simple, "I know." He peers up slightly as if to acknowledge him one last time. This last moment, the one that will stay in Micheal's mind for all eternity. btw this is a joke like all the others but I am MUCH more committed this time.
