Prologue.

I run through the forest. Branches whipping my face. Small rocks and twigs on the forest floor ripping my bare feet to shreds.
The roaring wind brings a message as it slides past my ears.
'Daire . . . Daire . . . come to me . . . Daire . . .'
I run and run through the merciless forest until I come to a black pond that reflects the moonlight.
'Daire . . . where are you . . . please . . . Daire . . .'

Daire Halliway's mother was killed in an accident. With no living relatives Daire is sent to Moon Light Falls to live in the care home there. Moon Light Falls is like no other place, Moon Light Falls is where the monsters lurk. When the monsters come after you where do you run and whose arms do you run into?
