Description
Marissa is one of three siblings of the head family of New Hope. Everything is as perfect as it could be in a world where mystical beings and humans are on the verge of another war. Until her father arranges a marriage to an older shape-shifting sea dragon pirate, all of her plans, from her career to her personal life, are now dead in the water. Levi is a world-famous pirate, mainly for how his family came into power. He wants to establish lasting peace between all of the clans, even at the cost of his freedom. It's easier said than done when his family pressures him to keep to tradition, and infighting may destroy the treaty before it can even begin. When they embark on this relationship, will they see past their differences and save the country from another war? "What experience do you have with older men," Rhys asked, laughing. He leaned back into the couch, stretching his arms along the back. His seated stance widened. Marissa sat back as well and angled her body towards him. "None, just a guess from what I hear," Marissa said, finishing her drink. "Well, on behalf of all old men, I take offense. Especially since you've never been with one. We're quite capable, more so than the younger ones," Rhys said, filling her glass. "That's something I would need to experience for myself then," Marissa said. "It's possible," Rhys said. "Was that an offer," Marissa asked.
