One drenching night, Maverick Devian became the talk of the town after escaping the prison cell upon murdering a young girl.

Taking a shot in the dark for hopes of finding place to hide, he got stumbled in to his ex-girlfriend's house. Eve is a kind of person who wouldn't be caught dead of doing such thing-- like keeping a fugitive on her couch.

Not until Maverick knocked on her door, and tell her, "For heaven's sake stop me. . . before I kill more."
