Chapter I : The Graveyard Shift

Anubis - a creature Mina Castillo would both hate and love. She didn't understand why he had chosen her to be his counterpart, but regardless of the reason, her fate was sealed forever. For the rest of humanity, death was something to be feared, but for Mina, death is a part of her everyday life. Serving as Anubis' avatar in the physical world, Mina has no choice but to obey every command. No attachments. No goals. No future. An eternal presence between life and death.
