Chapter 1 The orphanage

I hate my life. Or at least I used to. Orphaned at the age of one, passed around from orphanage to orphanage, never belonging.
But then, I changed. Literally.

I met the Changlings. The local group of 'superheroes', who seemed to know more about me than I did. Including who I was. And what I was.

With super speed and some seriously kick-butt senses, I was instantly accepted as one of them. But a few things still needed some answers.

Who were my parents? Why was I orphaned? And, more importantly, who killed them?
