She told herself she would never return. Yet she did. It only resulted in imprisonment and she grew weaker with every day. Will she be able to break free and stay strong enough to fight against the coming catastrophe? Be the pillar of hope the people need after countless useless wars? With numerous already dead? The army of dreadful creatures won't be pleasant to deal with. They might as well be the death sentence of every life in existence. Will she fight? Even if there is no knowing if she can win... Will it all end in pointless death? Her friends, her family, her love... The ones she already lost... Will she be able to protect them? In the end, is there only yourself you can rely on? To hold on even in the hardest times is something not everyone can do. Sometimes, the easiest way out is the best. ___ A small note from me, the author. I've written countless little English stories, yet this is the one I've come to love the most. Please, give it a try so I know if it's good. I can't guarantee the best grammar or the right words (because most of the time, I just guess the meaning behind words) but you know, most stories here I bet don't even have half my skill. Also, the title is not yet fully decided.
